01 · About

A pragmatic engineer who enjoys clean systems.

I build and maintain microservices and cloud-native systems on Azure, currently leading the design of services from scratch at CiGen and integrating Azure AI capabilities into e-commerce products. Most of my day is spent in .NET and C#, with Angular on the client when the shape of the work calls for it.

Over the last five years I've shipped in fintech, healthcare, and e-commerce — from Identity & Access Management and Document Management platforms at 3i Solutions, to enterprise .NET and Angular work at PwC, to a full .NET Framework → modern .NET migration at Engineering Group. The domains rotate, but the values don't: performance, clean architecture, maintainability, and code that the next engineer can reason about without a decoder ring.

Alongside employment I take on select freelance work and train aspiring developers in C#, .NET, Java, and SQL. Teaching keeps the fundamentals sharp — and has quietly made me a better engineer on the job.
